The Steam Plant Grill is the vision of Spokane’s historic renovation experts, Ron and Julie Wells, and their business partners and sons, Gage and Spencer Stromberg. Having completed work on the award-winning renovation of the building, they wanted to showcase the art and architecture by placing a restaurant among the catwalks, pipes and boilers. The Steam Plant Grill opened December 6, 1999. Original equipment of the Steam Plant is found throughout the Steam Plant Grill, leaving no doubt what the original purpose of the building was.

Today, we are excited to offer you, our guests, award-winning beer, an incredible happy hour, delicious weekly specials, one-of-a-kind banquet facilities and a dining experience you are not likely to find any place else. We take pride in being one of Spokane's finest restaurants - visit us today and see what all the fuss is about.
