Spring is here, and with it comes another one of our fantastic seasonal creations from the Coeur d'Alene Brewing Company. This go-round we find a traditonal Mai Bock waiting for your enjoyment. Traditionally, mai bocks tend to have a light color and significant hop character. Our Mai Bock was brewed in the dead of winter, it's rich malt flavor that is perfectly balanced by Bavarian hops a result of long aging. This nice bitter and sweet arrangement makes for a great seasonal treat. We only brewed one batch, so get into the Steam Plant Grill soon for a taste!
Free Beer @ the Steam Plant Grill
Ok, the beer is not really free, but we've priced it so low during happy hour it seems that way to us. $1.75 for sixteen ounces of award-winning Coeur d'Alene Brewing Company beer. You'll be hard-pressed to find micros this good at prices this low. Happy hour is available in our lounge from 4pm-6pm Monday through Thursday and all day Sunday.
Weekly Features
This week Executive Chef Barry Matthews and his talented staff put together a fresh sheet with some old favorites. The Hoisin Pork Skewers were a big hit with our guests. They start by marinating a pork tenderloin in plum sauce and sambal, then skewer it with red and green peppers, red onion, and mushrooms. The skewers are then broiled and served over steamed jasmine rice. To see all of Chef Barry's features for the week, click on the link below: Weekly Feature Sheet
