BIG addition at the Steam Plant Grill

If you have not been in the Steam Plant Grill within the past few weeks, you have missed a big addition to the facility. The Steam Plant has added one Big Ass Fan. This Big Ass Fan has been quite the talk of the restaurant since it was installed a couple of weeks ago.

We installed the Big Ass Fan to help keep the facility comfortable for our guests and to help reduce energy costs of both heating and cooling of the Steam Plant. With 60' ceilings and 80,000 square feet, you can imagine how much it costs to keep the building at a comfortable 68 degrees.

The Big Ass Fan is designed to move 147,569 cubic feet of air per minute. It measures 16 feet across and has specially designed foils, or blades, called powerfoils that help the Big Ass Fan move this massive amount of air each minute.
