It was wonderful how many of you took to heart our earnest desire to celebrate Repeal Day last Friday. (See last week's newsletter for more info.) We are committed to help you to continue to celebrate more obscure holidays and truly be Spokane's (NO!......the world's!) foremost obscure holiday celebration hot spot. Sound silly? Maybe. But we figure that if we can help you focus on finding joy every day of life instead just around the big holidays we are doing our job. Through hand-crafted beer, a menu made from scratch, fantastic service and a truly stunning atmosphere we hope we can do that each and every time you visit us.

So...following that vein of thought....did you know that December is also known as "Bingo Month"? (We couldn't make this up if we tried!) So, the next time you visit us this month try this: pint of Coeur d'Alene Brewing Company beer to start; our famous Cheese Bread to follow; next a cup of the Beer Cheese soup; then a plate a Fish and Chips; and finally, the Double Chocolate Torte Cake...that's a Steam Plant Grill Bingo!

Looking for something quick and light for lunch this week? Try our Pineapple and Mango Salad - fresh pineapple and mangoes tossed with almonds, macadamia nuts and coconut flakes served over crisp romaine lettuce and a mango vinaigrette.

Not going to make it in for lunch? Try the Ravioli at dinner - crab claws sauteed in garlic, olive oil, cracked pepper and white wine then finished with creole spice cream. Served over shrimp and andouille sausage stuffed raviolis and garnished with diced tomatoes, parmesan cheese and garlic bread.

Since we are a locally-owned business, we feel it very important to support other locally-owned businesses.  That is why the Steam Plant Grill is proud to feature wines from Lone Canary. Winemaker Mike Scott has several wonderful creations and we are proud to be featuring his Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Bird House Red.
